Central Sinai RO Plants - Sinai/Egypt
The purpose of the project is to provide three villages in Central Sinai with brackish water treatment facilities in order to improve community supply of potable water.
The LIFE Sinai Program is designed to assist poorer Bedouin communities in the Central Sinai region through a comprehensive development approach aimed at improving the livelihoods of selected villages. The lack of adequate supplies of potable water serving Central Sinai communities has been identified as a major and immediate need for livelihood improvement. The contract is funded by USAID under Contract No. EPP-I-00-06-00007-00, Task Order No.99. The project includes the provision of three brackish water treatment facilities in Central Sinai located at three villages named Meswateya, Monbateh and Bir Beda.
The capacity of each plant is 2 x 10 m3/h including treatment of RO reject water before final disposal to evaporation bonds. For further details about this project, please contact us. All photos shown here are the original/typical for this project.
This contract was based on EPC concept, where MIDWATER scope was turnkey including design, civil works construction , supply, installation and operation of the three plants.
